World renowned physical theatre and contemporary circus performer Thom Monckton has his hands busy at the moment, touring not one but two shows around the country.

Thom joins us fresh off the stage from performing in The King of Taking this evening as part of Nelson Arts Festival, where you can catch the show again tomorrow before it heads to Auckland on 11-12 November, where he will also be performing his new show The Artist.

His new show The Artist was co-created with European circus group Circo Aereo, and is the follow up to their worldwide smash hit The Pianist.

10:35 Nude cycling in the North Island

A nude bike ride is pushing off from Waihi Beach next month in an effort to highlight the vulnerability of cyclists on the road and protest against the world’s oil dependency. 

Organised by Andrew Cook of Hauraki Naturally as part of an international movement, the event is thought to be the North Island's first ever group bicycle ride in the buff. Andrew joins the show to tell us more.
