The police are appealing for witnesses to a serious road crash near Turangi yesterday in which three young men were critically injured.
A grey Subaru Impreza collided with a tree about 4pm and the occupants, all in their late teens, had to be cut from the vehicle before being airlifted to Waikato Hospital.
The Serious Crash Unit is investigating and wants to hear from anyone who saw the crash or has other information.
