A young woman has been airlifted to hospital overnight following a serious crash in Queenstown.
The 17-year-old was driving along Gorge Road with two passengers when the car crossed onto the other side of the road and smashed into a parked van.
Two other parked vehicles were also damaged.
Emergency services were called at 12.40am and two people had to be cut from the car.
The driver was flown to Dunedin hospital in a serious condition.
