A dairy farm worker has been seriously injured after she was attacked by a bull this morning.

Emergency services were called to the farm in Mangakino in Waikato at just after 8pm and found the woman with serious head injuries.
Waikato rescue helicopter pilot Barry Vincent said the woman was flown to Waikato Hospital but it was not clear how the woman came to be injured by the animal.
And in Northland, a teenage girl has been taken to Northland Base Hospital with moderate injuries after she was attacked by a dog.
