When the markets closed the New Zealand dollar was buying 83.68 US cents, 81.04 Australian, 53.40 pence, 78.08 yen and 0.6188 euro. The Trade Weighted Index was at 75.71.
Air New Zealand was up 3 cents at $1.29, Contact Energy was up 6 cents at $5.26, Chorus was up 3 cents at $2.88 and Ebos Group was up 7 cents at $8.57.
Fletcher Building was down 21 cents at $9.19, Fisher & Paykel Healthcare was up 3 cents at $2.41 and Hallenstein was down 1 cent at $5.25.
Infratil was up 2 cents at $2.48, Pumpkin Patch was up 1 cent at $1.38, Sky City was down 2 cents at $3.92 and Summerset was up 2 cents at $2.48.
Tower was down 1 cent at $1.92 and Warehouse was down 5 cents at $3.30.
