Kordia has signed a new 11-year contract with Maritime New Zealand to supply maritime distress and safety communications services through a maritime operations centre in Wellington.
The new contract will take effect from July and was subject to a competitive international tender process. It will be the third consecutive multi-year contract Korida has had with Maritime New Zealand.
Kordia New Zealand said that between the Australian and New Zealand businesses it monitors almost a quarter of the world's oceans.
