A former senior Qantas executive has been sentenced to six months in prison in the United States for his role in price-fixing on international air cargo.
Bruce McCaffrey was once the most senior Qantas executive in North America.
A judge in Washington DC sentenced McCaffrey to six months in prison and imposed a fine of $US20,000 after he pleaded guilty to taking part in an international scheme to fix the price for air cargo shipments.
