Silverdale Knitwear has acquired Christchurch manufacturer P J Jeans, effectively doubling its size.
Managing director Warren Cotterill said the Levin company has had a relationship with P J Jeans owner Phil Creighton, for 15 years and there many synergies between the two operations.
He said Mr Creighton will remain in Christchurch to provide continuity with suppliers and customers and the rest of the P J team will head north to Levin.
