Trilogy expects to triple profit

5:15 pm on 11 March 2015

Trilogy International expects to report a more-than three-fold increase in full-year underlying profit of more than $4 million.

The fragrance and candlemaker company said strong sales of candles in the Australian market, and the profitability of its Ecoya range of body and bath and home fragrance products, have contributed to the growth, for the period ending 31 March.

Sales are expected to be up 18 percent to more than $35 million, over the year earlier.

Chief executive Stephen Sinclair said the company's new Australian distributor, McPherson's Consumer Products, and good holiday sales of the Ecoya products, have made all the difference.

He said the sales have been strong in all markets.

Mr Sinclair said the forecast is based on sales to the end of January.
