The benchmark NZX 50 index closed down 3 points (0.1%) to 3223 on turnover of $65 million on Thursday.
Fletcher Building was down 2 cents to $8.11, while Telecom was unchanged at $2.25 and Contact Energy was up 4 to $6.13
Sky City Entertainment Group fell 2 cents to $3.23, with Sky Network Television unchanged at $5.05 and Fisher & Paykel Healthcare down 1 cent to $3.30.
Air New Zealand rose 1 cent to $1.94 and The Warehouse dropped 2 cents to $3.92.
Allied Farmers fell 0.3 cent to 7.3 cents.
The ASX 200 index was down 12 points (0.25%) to 4808.
In currency markets, the NZ dollar was at 69.79 US cents, 76.58 Australian, 46.68 British pence, 63.07 yen and 0.5122 euro. The TWI was at 64.57.
