Trade Me says more than 39,000 jobs were listed on its site within the three months to June - up 27% on the same period a year ago.
Trade Me Jobs head Peter Ashby says the employment market is swinging in favour of job seekers, with less competition among applicants and pay packets up more than 3.5% on the same period last year.
Mr Ashby says job listings in all the main centres have risen more than 20%. Canterbury is up 65% on this time last year.
