New Zealand market up slightly

The NZX50 index has closed Monday's trading up 6 points, or 0.2%, to 3274.

Among the major changes, Fletcher Building was down 6 cents to $7.73, Telecom rose 2 cents to $2.74, and Contact Energy was up 14 cents to $5.16, despite intense competition and full hydro lakes denting its full year profits

Sky City Entertainment was down 2 cents to $3.46, Auckland International Airport was up 2.5 cents to $2.215, and Fisher & Paykel Healthcare was down 2 cents to $2.36

The Warehouse lost 2 cents to end the day at $3.38, Hallenstein Glassson was down 5 cents to $3.38, and Goodman Fielder down 12 cents to 91 cents.

Nuplex up 16 cents to $2.53, Cavalier Carpets down 5 cents to $3.50, and Hellaby Holdings up 15 cents to $2.55. All three companies had earlier reported a rise in profits for 2011.
