[b Postie Plus experienced a modest rise in full year sales for 2010/11 but the result was crimped by falls in the final quarter of the year.
The clothing retailer made sales to the value of $115.73 million in the year to 1 August, an increase of 2% on the previous year.
However, cautious consumer spending and a late start to winter hurt clothing sales, particularly in the April/June period, when revenue from sales fell 6% to $29.549 million.
Despite the fall in the fourth quarter, Postie Plus expects its profit result, to be announced in September, will be slightly more than last year's $415,000.
