The NZX50 index rose 12 points, or 0.4%. on Tuesday, to close at 3318. Turnover was $68 million.
Among the movements - Fletcher Building gained 7 cents to $7.77, Telecom lost down 3.5 cents to close at $2.73 while Contact Energy was up 7 cents at $5.27.
Sky City Entertainment was unchanged at $3.40, Sky Network Television was down 6 cents to $5.74, Auckland International Airport ended up 3.5 cents at $2.285, and Air New Zealand was up 1 cent to $1.09.
Fisher & Paykel Healthcare rose 1 cent to $2.19 and The Warehouse was also up 1 cent to $3.44.
PGG Wrightson gained 3 cents ending the day at 47 cents while Goodman Fielder was down 3 cents to 95 cents and Port of Tauranga was up 18 cents to $9.88.
Vector ended up 5 cents at $2.46 after saying its full-year profit will be between analysts' estimates of $22 million to $28 million.
