The tourism operator, Tourism Holdings, has brought all its Australasian manufacturing and sales arms into one unit, to reduce costs and make the business more efficient.
The company has been hard hit by fewer tourists to Australia and New Zealand in the past few years, due to recession and high currencies.
The new unit, called Motek, includes Ci Munro, Action Motor Bodies and Maui Vehicle Sales, as well as the company's Australian vehicle sales and manufacturing businesses.
