All seven of the New Zealand swimmers competing in the first session in the pool at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi have advanced to the semifinals of their events on Thursday.
Daniel Bell was second fastest qualifier in the 100m backstroke, while the 200m backstroke silver medallist Gareth Kean also advanced.
Glenn Snyders is through to the semis of the 50m breastroke, Emily Thomas the 50m backstroke and Moss Burmester 100m butterfly, although he was only ninth fastest.
Hayley Palmer and Amaka Gessler are into the 50m freestyle semifinals swimming heats.
