Police have found the stolen car used in a series of armed daylight robberies at tourist spots in Auckland.
The royal-blue Holden Commodore was located shortly before 7am on Tuesday, dumped in Onehunga and partially burnt-out.
The car was used by a gunman who fired five shots into the ground on Sunday at the summit of Mount Eden .
Police say robberies were also committed at the base of Mount Eden and in the Auckland Domain Wintergardens.
Police say whoever burnt the car had to have been helped to get out of Onehunga.
Anyone who had any sightings of it in the Onehunga, Mangere or Hillsborough suburbs over the past 24 hours is asked to contact them.
