A lieutenant has been sentenced at Linton Military Camp on a charge of assault.
Appearing before a judge and a panel of military personnel, Afghanistan veteran Joshua Saua pleaded guilty to injuring with reckless disregard to the safety of others.
The judge cited an early guilty plea and a previous clean record as reasons for a reduced sentence.
The 22 year-old officer received a severe reprimand, and was ordered to pay his victim $1000.
