New Zealand has confirmed two more cases of swine flu, taking the country's tally to nine.

The two additional cases are a member of the Rangitoto College group that returned to New Zealand from Mexico via Los Angeles on 25 April and another person on the same flight, NZ1.

The Health Ministry says all those with confirmed swine flu have been treated and have recovered fully.

The number of probable and suspected cases, at 10 and 40 respectively, is down from Thursday but the number of confirmed cases internationally continues to rise.

Thirty-three countries have reported almost 6500 confirmed cases and 65 deaths.

Panama, with 29 confirmed cases, and Spain, with 100, have seen the biggest increases since yesterday.
