All three men wounded in last week's shooting in Napier are continuing to improve in hospital.

Senior Constable Len Snee was killed in the shooting.

The gunman, Jan Molenaar, was found dead with a self-inflicted gunshot wound following a 50 hour siege.

Senior Constable Bruce Millar has improved and is now in a serious condition in intensive care.

Senior Constable Grant Driver and Leonard Holmwood, the civilian who went to the officers' aid, are both stable and in a general ward.
