Teen death post-mortem complete

Police say a post-mortem has been completed on the body of an Auckland teenager who died on Thursday after a fight following his school rugby training.

Stephen Dudley,15, had taken part in a Kelston Boys High School rugby practice.

Two teenagers appeared in court on Friday charged with assaulting him.

Detective Inspector Bruce Scott says a physical post-mortem has been done but the police will not be releasing the results as it is up to a coroner to determine the cause of death.

Mr Scott says the police will wait for the results of toxicology and other tests before deciding whether to lay any further charges against the two accused.

He says the police believe they have now spoken to everyone who was at the scene of the fight.
