Statistics New Zealand is to release the first lot of data from this year's census on Monday.
It will be the first set of data since the last census in 2006, after the Christchurch earthquakes forced the 2011 one to be delayed.
A Statistics New Zealand spokesperson says Monday's release will help prepare the size and shape of parliamentary electorates for next year's general election.
