Passengers flying in and out of Wellington are continuing to experience delays and some cancellations after earlier heavy fog disrupted flights for much of Friday.

Wellington Airport says conditions have improved on Friday night, but airlines are still working through a backlog and some flights have been rescheduled for Saturday.
Airport spokesperson Briarley Kirk said passengers should check with their airline for any changes to their scheduled flight.
