More than 30 domestic flights to and from Auckland have been cancelled or delayed on Sunday evening because of heavy rain.
About 20 flights into the city have been affected, along with a dozen departing.
All but one of the flights are operated by Air New Zealand, which could not be contacted for comment.
An airport spokesperson says no runways have been closed and the rain is now starting to clear.
