New striker Eugene Dadi had an outstanding debut for the Wellington Phoenix in their 3-1 A-League victory against Brisbane Roar on Saturday night.
Dadi became an instant hit with the Phoenix fans at Wellington's Westpac Stadium with a spectacular bicycle kick in the 56th minute. A few minutes later he followed it up with his side's third goal.
The Ivory Coast international joined the Wellington side only this week after being released by Perth Glory.
A Tim Brown header gave the Phoenix a 1-0 half-time lead.
Sergio van Dijk scored a late consolation goal for the Roar.
