In the High Court in Auckland, Jaclyn Keates today pleaded guilty to kidnapping and to using weapons, including scissors and a cricket stump, on the victim.

The Crown withdrew a charge of unlawful sexual connection.

As Keates was led out of court, a supporter in the public gallery called out "Love you, sis".

A member of public found the victim in a critical condition in Dome Valley on May 9. A tattoo on her leg helped police identify her. She has name suppression.

Keates, who was to face trial in February along with five others, will be sentenced on December 13.
