Mr Lipp-Neighbours was last seen leaving a friend's house on 24 January 2010, driving his bright orange Toyota Corolla station wagon.

The car was discovered by crew members examining the anchor of a large superyacht moored at the wharf.

There are now a number of security barriers preventing vehicle access to the dock, but seven years ago it was possible to drive out onto it.

Police were now trying to find out how the car ended up in the harbour.

When their dive team retrieved the wreck, they said they were confident the vehicle belonged to Mr Lipp-Neighbours.
