Body in water: No suspicious circumstances, say police

There were no suspicious circumstances in the death of a woman whose body was found on the Wellington waterfront last week, say police.

The middle-aged woman's body was found in the water at Queens Wharf early on Friday morning.

She has not been publicly named.

The case has now been referred to the coroner.
