Police in Waikato say a motorcyclist was killed when he rounded a corner on State Highway 3 and hit a tanker as it was exiting a farm driveway.
The incident involved four motorcyclists in the Otorohanga rural area.
They were riding in a line and the last of the four was able to stop before hitting the tanker.
John Robin Hall, 43, from Te Awamutu died and another motorcyclist was taken to Waikato hospital.
