A fire on the banks of the Manukau Heads in Auckland has been put out.
Firefighters were brought in by hover-craft to battle the blaze on Sunday.
A group of trees were reported to be on fire on the foreshore of the Otuataua Historic Reserve in Mangere, at about 1.30pm on Sunday.
Meanwhile, fire fighters were damping down hotspots on Sunday evening after a large blaze at an animal feed storage building in Washdyke, near Timaru.
