Police in Auckland are trying to locate those involved in a race on the southern motorway that ended with two other people being injured on Sunday afternoon.
One of the cars collided with a Mercedes Benz near the Oram's Rd over-bridge.
The Mercedes rolled into a ditch and the driver and his passenger were treated in hospital for minor injuries.
The driver of the race car was picked up by the vehicle he was racing, which sped off from the scene.
