Police in Palmerston North are seeking witnesses after a shotgun was fired in the central city.
The shots were fired at about 7.20pm on Monday outside a liquor store on Grey Street.
Cartridges from two shotgun shells were found outside the store, and police say it is unclear whether they were fired from a car.
