Fire has destroyed a golf driving range and cafe near Queen Elizabeth Park in the Christchurch suburb of New Brighton.
The Fire Service says it was called to the blaze at 3.30am on Thursday and needed six fire engines and a command unit to get it under control.
A fire safety investigation team has begun looking into the cause of the fire.
