Police are investigating an alleged burglary after a truck carrying a tiny home crashed on West Auckland's Great North Road on Monday morning.
Police say the truck collided with another vehicle, partially blocking the road near the intersection with Archibald Road.
Great North Road has since reopened in both directions.
A witness said the truck had just picked up the tiny home from a lot across the street.
Later in the evening, police said they were investigating an allegation of burglary in relation to the incident.
Police said they were at the scene with tow trucks to move the damaged truck.
One person was taken to hospital with moderate injuries.
