The cyclist killed in a hit and run near Christchurch on Thursday has been named as Jens Richardon.
Mr Richardon, 34, who was from overseas and was living at Springston temporarily, died on Leeston Road at about 7.30pm on Thursday.
Police said on Saturday they found a vehicle at a house about 20 kilometres away and spoke to two men aged in their twenties, but had laid no charges.
