Missing man's family plead for public's help

The family of a missing Paekakariki man are asking anyone who knows where he may be to come forward.

Raymond Piper, 23, was last seen at a house in Eatwell Avenue in Paraparaumu, on the Kapiti Coast, on 15 May.

His former partner Hannah Lark says the past 13 days have been the worst the family has ever faced.

She says they have searched high and low for Mr Piper, and are now appealing for the help of Kapiti Coast residents, asking them to check bush and scrub around their houses and keep an eye out when walking in parks and reserves.

Police say they haven't ruled out foul play.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mike Oxnam, who is heading the investigation, says officers are following up unconfirmed sightings of Mr Piper.
