Two boys have been arrested following an arson attack at an school in Auckland.
Seven classrooms were destroyed at Mangere East Primary School on Monday.
Treasurer Peter Sykes of the school board of trustees says it is a relief to know a 13 year old and a 14 year old boy have been arrested about the arson. He believes they are not past pupils of the school.
Mr Sykes says temporary buildings will be brought in next term until a new block is built in up to nine months.
He says children will have to use the school hall and library until the end of term.
