Heavy rain has caused flooding and slips on State Highway 1 between Blenheim and Waipara and on State Highway 7 between Springs Junction and Waipara, on Saturday morning.
Drivers in the southern Wairarapa district were also being warned that flooding has closed the Ponatahi Bridge outside Martinborough and White Rock Road at the intersection with Lagoon Hill Road.
