Part of Auckland's Southern Motorway will be closed for three nights from Sunday, 2 January.
The Transport Agency says the south-bound section of State Highway 1, between Market Road and Greenlane, and one north-bound lane will be closed while central median barriers are installed.
South-bound traffic will be diverted from Market Road along Great South Road from 8.30pm until 8am on Sunday and Monday, and from 8pm on Tuesday until 6am on Wednesday.
