A bank has been robbed in the Auckland suburb of Mt Albert.
Police say they were called to the National Bank on Mt Albert Road just before 4pm on Friday.
A Radio New Zealand reporter says the bank closed early and there is a sign on the door saying there has been a robbery.
A police helicopter has been flying over the area.
Police say they do not have any further details about the incident at this stage.
