11:44 am on 23 March 2011

Police investigating the murder of a Wellington man are asking for sightings of a car they say might be connected to the killing.

Matthew Hall, 35, was stabbed to death at his Broderick Rd home in Johnsonville with what the police describe as a large serrated knife.

Investigation head Detective Senior Sergeant Dave Thornton says a dark grey Nissan Primera may have been at the scene.

He is asking anyone with information about the Nissan to ring 0508 BRODERICK.
