There were two winners on Saturday night in Lotto's biggest-ever Powerball Jackpot of $34 million. With extra tickets sold the prize money for each winner is $17.7 million.
The winning tickets were bought in New World, Dannevirke, and a Take Note in Hamilton.
From midday on Saturday about 1700 tickets per minute were being sold at outlets around the country.
The official winning numbers were: eight, 20, 35, 18, five, three and the bonus, 10. The lucky Powerball number was three.
