The New Zealand women's hockey team drew 3-3 with Germany in their second Test in Berlin on Monday.
The Black Sticks beat the same side 4-3 on Sunday.
Northland players Charlotte Harrison (2) and Ella Gunson scored the goals.
Coach Mark Hager says it was a gutsy performance from all players who didn't give up.
He says everyone is improving as each game goes on.
The Black Sticks now travel to the Netherlands for three practice games against China, Holland and Korea before starting the Champions Trophy on 25 June.
