More than 500 properties in Wellington lost power during the winter storm that started last Sunday.
The company says potential problems remain because of leftover debris and trees near power lines that may have been weakened and could be brought down by future high winds.
Power has been restored to all properties, with the exception of two that are operating with generators.
Wellington Electricity says further blackouts can be avoided by customers contacting the company about storm debris that needs to be removed.
