ACC says it does not need to take action over a claim received from the woman who has laid an assault complaint against broadcaster Tony Veitch.
Mr Veitch has admitted lashing out at Kristin Dunne-Powell in 2006 and the police are investigating reports that she broke her back in the assault.
The Accident Compensation Commission says Ms Dunne-Powell received no cash payment from ACC and there was nothing dishonest about her claim. It reviewed her file after she made an assault complaint to the police.
A spokesman says ACC is satisfied no further investigation is needed.
He says ACC would not disclose any more about Ms Dunne-Powell's case without her permission because it would breach her privacy.
No charges have been laid against Mr Veitch by the police; the investigation is continuing.
Mr Veitch resigned from his jobs at TVNZ and the Radio Network last month; both companies are reviewing their handling of the matter.
