Fiji's Ministry of Health says it will continue to work with key agencies to reduce the dengue fever statistics.

Today the Ministry will team up with the Suva City Council, Kinoya youth group, Flour Mills of Fiji and Fiji Correctional Services to embark on a clean-up campaign in various areas across Suva.

The Ministry of Information permanent secretary, Sharon Smith Johns, says this new development is encouraging and demonstrates how organisations and individuals are taking the dengue fever situation seriously.

The Ministry of Health has recorded 3,330 confirmed dengue fever cases.
