The suspended lead investigator into a corruption case in Papua New Guinea says the Prime Minister, Peter O'Neill, has blatantly breached the court process.

Assistant Commissioner Thomas Eluh, who has been overseeing the matter of alleged corrupt payments from the government to Paul Paraka lawyers, says he will challenge his suspsension in court today.
The Assistant Commissioner says has has reason to believe the Prime Minister's move is a direct attempt to pervert the course of justice.
He also says elected leaders and members of the police are not saying anything but instead are supporting Mr O'Neill, who doesn't want to be answerable to the laws of PNG, inplying that some of them were being paid for their silence.
Assistant Commissioner Eluh says fighting crime and corruption is just only the business of the police but everyone's concern, however he recommended people stay home rather than join a public protest today.
