Fiji's final voter roll is expected to be available after the 20th of this month.
The Supervisor for Elections Mohammed Saneem told Fiji Broadcasting people have time to change their assigned polling stations up until that date.
The office has provided a free text service for people to check where they are meant to be voting and people can apply to vote at another polling station.
Other media report hundreds of people flocked to a central Suva registration desk yesterday evening before the registration deadline.
The elections authorities say more than 575-thousand voters were registered to vote at the end of July.
