Sport: PNG Mosquitoes into another AFL International Cup final

Papua New Guinea have qualified for their third consecutive AFL International Cup grand final after an emphatic 75-28 semi final victory over New Zealand on Tuesday.

Amua Pirika bagged three crucial goals as the Mosquitoes kept the Hawks scoreless in the first quarter and goal less in the final stanza to set up a repeat of the 2011 decider against Ireland, who beat South Africa 53-28.

The final will be held at the home of the AFL Grand Final, the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Tonga will playoff against Canada for fifth and sixth place in the Division One final after thrashing Pakistan 147-6.

Nauru beat Great Britain to advance to the 7th and 8th place qualifier while the Fiji Tribe will playoff for 9th and 10th place against Great Britain after losing to the USA.

The women's finalists will be decided on Wednesday with Tonga up against Canada Northern Lights and the Fiji Vonu gunning for back to back wins against USA Freedom.
