In Vanuatu a man who tried to shoot an Australian investor in Luganville in Santo has been jailed for 8 years.
The Supreme Court found Paul Tunat guilty of attempted intentional homicide and illegal possession of a gun when he tried to shoot John Fordham in December last year.
The convicted man had been recognised from pictures captured by a surveillance camera.
